Georgia Epoxy Solutions, LLC had the pleasure of refinishing the main stage at The Muse Theatre in Perry, Georgia with an epoxy floor solution that incorporated their infamous brand recogniton over a solid epoxy coating and clear urethane top coat that will last for years to come!
We LOVE The Muse Theatre. At some point in the 1950's they were just a movie theater.
Fast foward a hand full of decades later and The Muse Theatre was re-opened as an event venue for weddings, receptions, corporate parties, theatrical events, concerts, and more. They have enormous 24-foot ceilings, spectacular hardwood floors, and luxurious crystal chandeliers that all come together to provide the perfect setting for your next event.

We also had the opportunity to help Lowe Aviation's hangar floor over at Middle Georgia Regional Airport stand out from the rest!

This hangar was built with "power trowel" finish. Simply put, the builders installed a cost-effective smooth finish Most homes garages are finished in a similar fashion as well. Since power troweled concrete is still very porous, it is common for oil stains, tire marks, and other infectants to find their way under this finish and leave unwanted stains and displesing appearances throughout.
We grinded the original finish off this floor with our commercial concrete grinder to create a profile on the substrate that allows our epoxy resin to penetrate and properly bond to it. Once that was done we got right to work adding a 100% solid epoxy base coat with a built in vapor barrier. Then we added our vinyl chip flakes followed by a top coat of UV stable polyaspartic resin to seal them in.
